Very Clean Work Stay/Vacation Retreat Near DT&I25

Judson is a wonderful host with excellent communication. He was very helpful throughout the stay. I highly recommend staying at any of his properties!

We stayed here a few days to pick up my daughter and grandkids. It's clean and had everything we needed for a stay with kids. It's on somewhat busy street but was convenient and noise wasn't an issue. We would stay again.

Never again will I stay here. Positive: Clean Negative: Heard a woman getting beat, dogs barking outside my window, drugs being used outside by homeless people, loud cars, loud music, fireworks.

All in all good, but the description, "beautiful" work-stay is a stretch by a lot. Positive: Close to downtown. Responsive host. Negative: Thin walls. Noisy tenants that were partying, playing loud music, hanging out in hall, and propping open the locked front door. Strong scented plug and spray air freshener made me instantly nauseas, I am sensitive to strong chemicals scented products and it took over a day to air out after unplugging. Not normal building adjustments like a plastic tube pushed through bedroom wall that I later found out was there for when they plug in an A/C unit, but don't those have evaporation trays, and a hole in the wall is not code. Windows screwed to only open a few inches, that I assume is a safety measure in a sort of sketchy neighborhood, but also a fire safety concern, should install a safety bar that can be removed in case of fire or emergency.

The apartment is nicely renovated. We were cozy and enjoyed tye conveniences of our stay. The property manager was ready to help in anyway and was easy to get in touch with and prompt to respond. It was close to appointments. We would definitely recommend this place and will consider staying here again.
